The final examination at the corresponding chamber of commerce and industry composes of:

• Written part 
•  Oral part

Industrie- und Handelskammer Kassel

The apprenticeship comprises of the following departments (variable):

• Purchase including goods receiving department 
• Cost accounting department
• Engineering department (laboratory & quality control)
• Sales department
• Accounting department
• Human resources department
• It-department
• Reception

All trainees are accompanied during the whole period by a trainer supervisor of the specific department.
