Smurfit Kappa C. D. Haupt produces in Diemelstadt-Wrexen 220,000T  containerboard mainly testliner, corrugating medium and laminating paper  as well as 80,000T of bookbinding board per annum. Both mills have a common infrastructure.

C. D. Haupt employs 270 regular persons working in a fifth shift system. 170 employees work in the paper the other 100 in the board department. Smurfit Kappa C. D. Haupt Papier ranks among the biggest employer in the district.
